About baby: ***UPDATE**** Due to peaked interest from Dogs in Danger, Baby's E-date has been extended. Please inquire with contact regarding interest in Baby to arrange for a meeting. :) Baby is a 10-month old Shar Pei and American Staffordshire Terrier mix. She was actually adopted and returned because she did not bark. Baby is not very vocal, so if you are looking for a dog that prefers to stay a little quiet then this is the girl for you! She weighs about 55 pounds and is strong, but she is very gentle and quite easy to handle. She can be a little shy at first, but is very quick to warm up. Baby is very attentive and knows the 'sit' and 'lay down' command, and is now working on 'shake.' She is also being trained to walk on the leash. Since Baby loves to earn her treats, she has been doing quite well on her training. Baby isn't all about hard work though - she loves her playtime also! She loves to play with toys and will play with every one she can find. Baby also really likes other dogs, but would do best in a home with no cats. Baby is best suited for children 5 and up.
Don't adopt just because you feel sorry for baby!
Adoption should be a well thought out decision, it's a lifetime commitment.
