About debbie: Debbie - female terrier mix - 1 year old, 36.6 lbs. Debbie has got to be the sweetest dog on the planet! She was so happy to sit in the sun in the arms of the volunteer and just hang out. She is small enough to be a wonderful lap dog! She did great when other dogs came near and didn't care about the cats. She has seen a vet for her eye and they said it doesn't appear to bother her (see vet notes below). Debbie would be great in a quiet home where she can chill all day and bask in the sun! 1/23/17-S Vet care was provided $270.67. She was presented after being hit by a car over the weekend. She is able to walk but has severe lameness on the left front limb. There was swelling around the carpus with multiple abrasion but no pain on palpation and manipulation of the limb. The left eye has hyper pigmentation of the entire cornea with mild ocular discharge. This defect appears to be chronic and does not seem to be bothering her. She also had skin lasion along the medial aspect of her limbs, feet, and abdomen. Her trichogram was positive for demodex. Continue applying the eye ointment as directed for the ocular discharge in the left eye. Give Clavamox (antibiotic), Rimadyl (anti-inflammatory/pain medication), and Tramadol (pain medication) as directed. Also administer Bravecto as directed for treatment of demodex. If there is no improvement with her leg within the next week, radiographs are recommended. She should also be spayed as soon as possible.
