About olive: A5202925 Olive is a funny almost 2-year-old black spayed female Pit Bull and Labrador Retriever mix whose former owner left her at the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on July 23rd, 2018 for no known reason. Weighing 81 lbs (and needing to lose 10), Olive is a happy, wiggly girl with a playful attitude. She loves to play with squeaky toys and chase balls. We think she would enjoy a forever home with plenty of things for her to play with and where she can join you on daily walks. Olive seems to have been someone?s loved gal as she is quite chubby and needs to lose around 10 lbs to achieve a healthy weight. Olive doesn?t seem to have had much training yet, but she loves treats (and for many dogs, healthy snacks like carrots or apples are great treats!). She listens well which makes us think she will learn quickly. Olive sailed through her shelter-administered temperament test. Olive is not reactive to other dogs, but she should be the only dog in her new home while her new family gets to know her and her preferences better--we suspect she is primarily a people-focused dog who wants to be the queen of her castle. Olive has been in the shelter system for a very very long time! She is ready to give you some serious love and major laughs and will be an awesome best friend to anyone seeking an active larger dog.
