About oscar: A5215054 Oscar is a jazzy 1-year-old jet-black neutered male Pit Bull puppy brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center as a stray from Duarte on September 1st. Weighing 55 lbs, Oscar is a total love bug for belly rubs and attention, he'll roll around to make sure you get both his "good sides." This soulful young dude loves people and is social in the shelter's playgroups. One volunteer describes him as "smart, like a truffle pig." Oscar passed his temperament test and staff say he is highly adoptable, though like any teenage puppy, he could use some training and socialization to perfect his manners. He is already making progress; Oscar is housebroken and knows "sit," though he still pulls on leash. He is eager to please and would respond well to training, treats and toys. While anyone would be lucky to adopt this sweetheart, because he's a strong guy with some puppyish exuberance, we would recommend that he go to a home with middle school-aged children or older.
