About surfer: A5223505 Surfer is a snuggly 2-year-old white-with-gray neutered male Pit Bull brought in as a stray to the Palmdale Animal Care Center and transferred to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on September 29th. Weighing 60 lbs, Surfer is an athletic, handsome dude with a cute black nose and a dapper gray patch around his left eye. The ultimate "good boy," Surfer is good on leash, likely housebroken, and friendly with dogs and people. This smily pup is attentive and food-motivated; he's learning "sit," and will be easy to train. He passed his temperament test, staff say that he was very friendly and accepting of handling and did great in doggy playgroup. Despite his muscular build, Surfer thinks he"s a lap dog and loves to go cheek-to-cheek and give kisses to his handler. He'd be a wonderful dog for first-time owners or anyone looking for a pet who is the perfect balance of active and cuddly.
