About horton: A5240382 Horton is a friendly 5-year-old taupe and white neutered male Pit Bull brought in to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center from the Palmdale Animal Care Center on November 30th. Weighing 69 lbs, Horton is built like his Seussian namesake and is a caring people pleaser at heart; he loves human attention and happily wags his tail whenever someone comes to take him out of his kennel. We recommend that he go to a home with older children, given his elephantine build and tendency to pull on leash. Horton isn?t a fan of other canines and needs to be an ?only dog? for now. He would be a great fit for an active home that can give him the attention and approval he craves. Horton responds beautifully to handling and will truly be a gem of a dog with some training and socialization to polish his naturally amiable personality.
