About leroy: A5246201 Leroy is a special 1-year-old cream and brindle male Pit Bull puppy who was found as stray and brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on December 27th. Weighing an estimated 75 lbs, Leroy seems to be completely deaf and needs someone with the patience to work with him on hand signal training. He?s easily distracted by all the sights and smells in the shelter but once he has a dedicated person he will quickly learn what he needs to know, especially if he gets the Milk Bones that the loves. He has one blue and one brown eye (heterochromea) and his eye patch is a pretty brindle pattern. Leroy is a wiggly happy guy who likes new people and will jump up for attention so he?s not recommended for young kids (though we think kids 8+ will be fine as long as they understand his needs). Leroy will be a good activity partner for hikes and is going to be happiest as an active fit dog in a forever home committed to partnering and learning with him.
