About roxy: A5139336 Roxy is a stunning 5-year-old black-and-rust spayed female Rottweiler who was surrendered by her owner for no known reason to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on February 1st. Weighing 77 lbs, Roxy is a gorgeous girl with Disney princess eyes. She likes to have a little time to get to know new people and is recommended for a quiet adult home or with older kids who are dog savvy and patient. Roxy likes people but gets overly excited and vocal with other dogs so she is required to be the only dog in the home at least until her family gets to know her and she becomes comfy in her new home. In the noisy shelter environment, she is on alert and easily startled so our volunteers recommend a calm home. Roxy walks okay on leash and will benefit from regular exercise to keep her happy and centered. She?s sure to turn heads when walking through the neighborhood. She also would benefit from training and will learn what she needs to know with lots of positive reinforcement.
