Creamy Delicious ACCT-A-94322 Dog - Terrier, American Pit Bull Sex : Female Age : 7Y Weight : 48.60 lbs Location: Dog Intake Creamy Delicious ACCT-A-94322 is currently considered urgent and at risk of euthanasia due to behavior concerns. Creamy Delicious must have confirmed placement with an adopter or rescue partner by Wednesday, July 14, 2021, 10am. Creamy Delicious is a senior female, medium sized mixed breed dog, originally found tied up at another Philadelphia area shelter. Upon intake she was friendly and social and walked past a reactive dog without responding. Once placed into a kennel however, her behavior was immediately indicative of stress, including jumping up frantically, barking without interruption, and with dilated pupils. She has continued to demonstrate these behaviors as well as air snapping and high pitched screeching vocalizations. The current population of ACCT seems to be adding to her level of stress and the shelter is currently unable to support her behavioral health. An ideal placement scenario would be in an adoptive or foster home, vs. a kennel environment. Confirmed placement is considered a processed adoption or a confirmation of rescue pull by the indicated date and time.
