💜 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 Jackie A1861070 - Jackie had extra enrichment behind her covered kennel so I expected a wildebeest but what I got was a well mannered, introverted lady who leashed well and walked a bit nervously on the lead. She was quiet outside in the runs with exception of a few instances in which she barked at me working with the other dogs. Jackie loves treats and cannot get enough of them. She knows sit and after probably an hour outside, started running the fence line with Clair doing bunny hops and play bows, whimpering trying to get her to play more. Jackie did well in her temp test with Clair, she sniffed Clair more than Clair sniffed her - otherwise they were oblivious to the other?s presence. Going back inside, poor Jackie was just so sad. Definitely my favorite of the day.
📝 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 🌟PLEA NOTES: Jackie is in need of your help! She was an owner surrender in the field, there was no reason given. She is vocal in the kennel and is not showing well. She is a sweet girl once you show her treats.
INTAKE 1/19 - owner surrender 1/20 Vocal in kennel when people are passing by in row; able to redirect with treats. Once treats were offered, she was quiet and remained still while I leashed and once leashed walked out with tail tucked, tentative steps and head low.
1/22 Jackie was barking when I approached her at runs. I offered her treats, and she took them but while out leash walking, I noticed she stopped a few times. I offered her treats and baby talked her while taking her to the kennel. She continued to pause putting her paws forward. I continued to offer her treats along the way.
