💜 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 #1 Kristal is a beautiful husky mix with 2 different color eyes. She is so cute and has the fluffiest tail and in great physical shape. When walking up to the kennel they had her door covered which I don't understand why because she was curled up sleeping on her blanket. When opening the kennel, she was easy to leash and walked great out to the run. She pretty petite and looks more like a husky and GSD mix, and just so calm and sweet. She wasn't interested in my treats, hopped into my lap and just wanted pets and attention. Gorgeous coat and just an all-around perfect size dog. She is HW-.
#2 Kristal A1859841 - Kristal?s kennel was covered but she was happily distracted licking her peanut butter kong when I came to get her. She is easy to walk on a leash, very confident & no issues there. Kristal was super excited to be outside and have company, she liked to jump up to say hello - not in a rude or pushy manner, just happy. She knows sit and down, and did well in her temp test with Biggie. I think Kristal would be a great candidate for Rally/Obedience training because she?s whip smart, treat motivated and already seemed to have some commands down (I just don?t know the call word she was taught, obviously). Kristal is HW- and just needs spaying before she?s ready to go home with you today!
📝 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 INTAKE 1/11 - caller Mr. Allen reports pack stray dogs roaming area/ Senior calling unable to walk down street. Please sweep area -Sidney St. and Yellowstone St. States locations at corner of Yellowstone and Sidney and Hull and Sidney, SWEEP TEAM
1/15 Kristal had a neutral body as I approached her kennel. She had relaxed ears and a low wagging tail. I offered her some treats and she took them with a soft mouth out of my hand. Kristal was easy to leash up and she walked calmly out of her kennel. Outside she was able to walk on a loose leash as she didn't pull. Coming back from the run she was a bit more excited but still was able to walk on a loose leash. She would not walk into her kennel on her own as she pulled back hard when I tried to direct her in. I ended up going inside of her kennel and using baby talk to coax her inside the kennel.
1/18 Kristal was laying in her bed as i approached and greeted me with a relaxed body and loose low wagging tail. sat still while I leashed her and walked out of her kennel with no issues. walked on a loose leash the entire walk and ate the trail of treats. possibly knows sit and would sit once told and when treats were offered with no command.
1/23 Kristal was laying in front of the kennel door, walk up to open the kennel door, she got up and sat in front of the door waiting to be leash. Once she was on the leash, she walks out of the kennel readily and started to walk loosely on the leash.
