About guinivere: Manhattan Center 12/01/2016 WEB MEMO A volunteer writes: Black is beautiful! Tiny Guinevere is no coal nugget, but a gentle and affectionate diamond in disguise. Her favorite place to be is doling out flurries of kisses from a cozy lap. She arrived with a few minor boo boos, but they have already healed nicely and besides, who could look anywhere but deep into those pleading eyes? Guinevere wears her loving heart for all to see and instantly charms everyone who meets her with the forgiving nature of a doggie saint and her outstanding snuggling skills. Shes a great leash walker and seems to be quite house trained too, and despite being hurt in the past, she strolls by other dogs with no ill will or fear to be seen. The minute we near a bench, shes nuzzled into my lap. Even her official behavior notes read like a dream dog come true: constantly seeking attention from the handler by looking back at her, walking by her side and sitting as she waits for petting. The best things come in small packages, and I envy the lucky adopter who unwraps this itty bitty girl his holiday season. Come into our Manhattan Care Center and give yourself the gift of a lifetime of love. Guinevere will be waiting? My name is GUINEVERE. My Animal ID # is A1096788. Shes a 2yr old female black & white AMPBT mix that was dropped off at a Police station in the Bronx last night. The officers that dropped her off did not interact with her or notice she was injured. During intake it was noticed Guinevere had a few open wounds and some older scars on her body. Guinevere had a super loose, wiggly body and allowed all handling. She allowed to be scanned, collared and taken pictures of all the while sitting/laying on my lap and giving kisses, she also loves to hug.
