About robert: A5006827 Robert is a debonair 8-year-old black-and-rust neutered male Rottweiler whose former owners left him at the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on October 28th because they did not want the responsibility of a pet. Weighing 87 lbs, Robert is a cooperative and gentle fellow who lumbers agreeably on leash and seems to be housebroken. He is attentive to his handler, and relishes being petted and talked to; he will gently tap you with his paw when he would like your attention. His former owners tell us that he is good with small kids, as well as with dogs and cats. We observed that he is completely calm in the presence of other dogs, large and small. Robert is a darling dog who will be a wonderful indoor companion in any loving household.
