Behavior Observation: per previous owner-very attentive, affectionate would not leave owner alone, very loving he usually runs the fence with dog next door who is a pug and smaller than him he never really showed aggression to dogs until today he just snapped today was the first and only time the dog has acted in this way unfortunately for the dog. Per staff- has had dog meets since entering shelter (links below) Personality: Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be the apple of someone's eye? How about the apple of a dog's eye named Guy? The way he looks at the people he loves will make your heart melt. Guy is a 5 year old, 50 lb., affectionate boy who loves a good butt scratch. He's playful and loves a fun game of hide and seek, ring around the rosy or whatever other games you might want to play! He likes to be around his people, is great with kids and will often lean into you for pets. He will also cover you in kisses as his way of saying thank you for being his friend. Guy knows sit, takes treats gently and loves to go on adventures, like the one he went on recently with both his canine and human friends. Guy is low energy but has some energetic moments. Guy was very good in the car. He sat quietly. Guy showed interest in dogs and cats he saw. Guy walks well at an even pace and does not pull. When he gets nervous he will refuse to walk and will pull a little bit to smell things. Guy knows sit. Guy would do best with a calm household.
