About annie - special needs dog!: Annie was found in an abandoned trailer still nursing two puppies. Unfortunately, Annie had a badly fractured leg (from an old injury) and was also heartworm positive. Annie is now in a foster home recovering from heartworm treatment and her leg (front right) was amputated. Annie was a good mom to her puppies and she is good natured and deserves a second chance at good health with a loving family.
