About urgent lil' girl: IMPORTANT: Please ignore the euthanasia date. Dogs at this pound can be killed any day, any time. Lil' Girl is a very cute female puppy. We are told he is a Border Collie/Rat Terrier mix. Who knows what she is, except 150 % lovable! Look at these sweet, round eyes! She is about 3 to 4 months old and 6 lbs. Terriers are favorites for their small size and energy. They are both instinctive hunters and great companions. They love to play and have a special passion for ball chasing. The Terrier is best with a fenced yard to release energy in a healthy way, and since they are known to take off after anything that runs, if left loose. They are generally good with other dogs and cats in their own family. Attentive and sensitive, this breed responds to discipline and to obedience training that utilizes food and praise. Can you give this animal a safe and loving permanent home? Two out of three animals will not make it out of the shelter. HURRY! This dog is at the local pound and will be killed for lack of space - NO OTHER REASON - if not adopted. If you are interested in this pet, fill out an application right away. If you would like to sponsor this dog, this would encourage a rescue group to take her: http://members.petfinder.com/~LA26/guardian_angel.html. If you are with a rescue group, please contact us ASAP. Time is of the essence, your next best friend is in danger, DO NOT PROCRASTINATE! Dogs at the pound sleep on cold wet concrete.
