About phoenix: PHOENIX, ID# 123086, 3 yrs old, 57 lbs, Male, Brooklyn ACC, Large Mixed Breed, Tan, Owner Surrender Reason: surrendered to the ACC due to his family living in a place where pets aren't allowed Shelter Assessment Rating: NEW HOPE ONLY No children (under 13)

A shelter volunteer writes... Cuddly, playful and handsome PHOENIX was a member of a household before his family gave him away due to their now place not accepting pets. At the shelter, he is putting on a brave face but all he hopes is for a family to love him again. This sweet boy is excited, energetic, playful, and a lover of belly rubs. He loves playing with stuffed animals, squeaky toys and a good game of tug of war. PHOENIX is house trained and could benefit from extra doggy lessons on socialization. Who will take him home and show him love and guidance?
