A photo volunteer that spent time with this one-year-old boy said, "Splinter is such a sweet boy who will work his way into your heart! He was shy when separated from his kennel-mate Lola, but he was fine once I went into his kennel and slowly put a leash on him, and he felt that I was trustworthy enough. He didn't react to other barking dogs, but he was timid going through a doorway (definitely something he can work through once he's comfortable with you!) Rest assured, Splinter warms up quickly. This handsome boy loves belly rubs once he is relaxed. He loved dressing up for his photo shoot with us. He also knows how to sit and is very gentle. Children make him a little nervous, so he would do best to share a home with adults only." Splinter is urgent and pretty kennel-stressed, so we would love to see him adopted or rescued asap!
