💜 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 #1 Cristy is super sweet but did come out in the beginning as a weird calm skittish and cautious manner, nothing that worried me, just a shyness that made her appear to be timid. However, with just a few treats, it didn't take long to come out of her shell and became puddy in my hands. She knows sit on command. She truly is a beautiful, sweet, and shy girl.
#2 Cristy A1860496 - Cristy?s kennel was covered when I came to get her but she was very quiet behind the curtain. She leashed easily and walked confidently out of the building. She got a little barky with other dogs but settled down as she was allowed to just play and be. She does seem to know sit but doesn?t like doing it on command - i was only able to get her to do it once or twice. Cristy is very picky about treats, she refused the chicken jerky, pupperonis, beggin strips and the bone marrow treats I offered. We temp tested her against Lea and she did well, she showed no problems with the initial sniff greeting or walking alongside Lea around the building. Cristy walked smoothly back to her kennel and started playing with her enrichment toy. She seemed much more mature than her 3y.
📝 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 INTAKE 1/15 - DOGS IN HER YARD BARKING VERY AGGRS NO LEASH PLS CHK LIC AND VAC 2 dogs killed 10 chickens of his chickens. owner claims he does not want the dogs.
1/18 Quietly sitting at kennel door when approached, took treats with soft mouth from hand. remained standing still inside kennel while I opened door and spread-out blanket.
1/22 Placing under Adopt Eval due to dog lunging at other passing dogs through the kennel door with a very stiff body, back ears, and a tucked tail. When loose leash walking dog gently trots but ignores treats being offer in the way to and back from the runs. Once dog was placed back, I covered kennel door to provide privacy.
