🔹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲:
6/2/2026: Caller reported a brown and white female dog that had been staying around her yard.
📝 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀:
6/5/2026: Very timid and flinchy.
6/4/2026: Extremely timid and flinchy while staff attempted to leash her in the kennel. Walked with her head lowered, hackles raised, and tail tucked. Remained fearful during handling and spent much of the day pancaked on a blanket in the back of her kennel.
6/3/2026: Greeted staff with a tense body, whale eyes, and dilated pupils. Licked her lips repeatedly while being approached. After several attempts she allowed leashing and walked slowly behind the handler with a tucked tail and tense body throughout the outing.
🚑 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀:
6/2/2026: Intake exam normal. Weighed 42.5 lbs. Noted to have thinning hair on her shoulder. Vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated, and heartworm negative.
6/2/2026: Additional exam noted weight of 45 lbs and a condition involving the left shoulder. Received sedation for evaluation.
