(2/16) URI (2/12) Patient appears healthy on exam except for irritation of all four paws and high level of arousal (friendly at all times). Recommend anti-inflammatory for inflammation of paws and course of trazodone, along with increased enrichment. Behavior Observation: (3/2) Volunteer - Baby Fire and I were out on a walk and were passing by the school and he was lunging and snapping at the children running around outside (2/21-2/23) Slumper Party Notes: This past weekend (Feb 21-23) we fostered Baby Fire through your slumber party program. Our experience was nothing but excellent, and we thought it would be beneficial to give you more information on what he was like outside the kennel, in hopes of getting him adopted out more easily. I wish I could keep this little guy forever, and he will for sure be missed MAJORLY by my friends and I, but I trust that he will find a nice, loving home. During his stay, we kept some notes on him that we think would be helpful for both you guys and potential adopters: - he's great in the car - relatively easy to walk on the leash - GIANT snugglebug - loves ice cubes - no food aggression - does NOT like bicyclists - enjoyed going hiking - super interested in other dogs - not quite sure if he wants to play or eat them, so we thought it would be in our best interest not to chance it - house-trained (peed once right on the cabinets to mark his territory, but that's it) - didn't chew anything or get into the trash when he was left alone for 2 hours - the sweetest boy EVER :) (2/14) Volunteer -- Easy to leash and social. Minimal pulling. Aroused but allows handling. Becomes aroused during tag/chase games. No interest in toys at this time. Suggested Running Team. Evaluated Gold. (2/12) Per Vet Staff - friendly. Very excitable
