Eval Comments: He was standing at the kennel gate with concemed eyes, tucked tail and defensively barking. When the runner opened the
kennel gate, he took steps back to the middle of the kennel and continued defensively barking. He dodged the leash a couple of times before the runner was able to loop leash him. He walked to the play yard behind the runner and required verbal coaxing along the way. He entered the catch pen with concemed eyes and a low tail. He exchanged tense greetings with the other dogs through the play yard fence. He had concemed eyes and required a go-slow approach being collared by the runner. He entered the play yard with concemed eyes and a low body. He was approached by a female Corso and exchanged a soft greeting with her. He was then approached by a male Pitbull and exchanged a soft greeting with him. He began to calmly roam the yard and explore his surroundings. He continued to exchange soft greetings with the other dogs as he roamed the yard. He remained social with the other dogs for the rest of his time in the yard, but did mount dogs a few times.
He beganto approach handlers and seek affection. Hercules is social with the other dogs but has no play style at this time.
