About kai: Intake Info: Our ACO picked up this beautiful male German Shepherd in the Loxahatchee area. Medical: Kai is an approximately 5- year- old intact male shepherd who is heartworm positive. Kai has persistent lameness in his front left leg. X-rays of Kai?s front leg reveal a bullet lodged in his left shoulder. This appears to be a very old injury, as the hair has grown back across where the bullet entered. The X-rays also show a left humeral head fracture. Our vets believe Kai?s lameness will persist for the remainder of his life. Staff Notes: Kai is sweet natured dog who loves attention.
