Age: The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old. More Info: I have been at the shelter since Apr 27, 2026. I am an at risk animal. Please contact the shelter for more information. STAFF OBSERVATIONS 05/01/26 Handler had to enter kennel to leash dog as he was a bit scared of the leash. Once inside kennel, dog sniffed handler and accepted both treats and leash. Needs training to walk on leash, dog likes to jump and solicit affection from handler while walking. Very friendly. Multiple people walked up to pet dog and he both accepted their affection and solicited for more. In play-yard, dog solicited affection from handler. Was not interested in toys. Encountered a cat on his way back to his kennel and dog was non-reactive. Re-kenneled with no issues. 05/07/26 Dog participated in playgroup today. Dog was observed giving appropriate greetings, presenting nervous behaviors around other dogs upon entry but became more social toward other dogs over time. Dog was observed being appropriate with dogs smaller than him as well. 05/12/26 Dog participated in play group style today. 05/26/26 Dog appears kennel stressed in shelter environment. Dog alarm barks and height seeks throughout entire observation.
