mack has 1 day left to live!

About mack: Hello, my name is Mack. My animal id is #250931. I am a male black dog at the Queens Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 6 years 1 months 3 weeks old. 54.2 lbs. I came into the shelter as a owner surrender on 4/13/2026, with the surrender reason stated as person health - allergies.

Mack has been placed on the at risk list for medical reasons. He has a painful left front leg and is reluctant to place weight on it. We have done preliminary diagnostic tests, but they have been inconclusive. Behaviorally, Mack is excitedable and tolerant but will communicate when uncomfortable during medical handling. Mack needs further investigation and treatments we are unable to provide in the care center.

Don't adopt just because you feel sorry for mack!
