Age: The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old. More Info: I have been at the shelter since Jul 11, 2026. I am an at risk animal. Please contact the shelter for more information. STAFF OBSERVATIONS 07/14/26 13:21 during kennel walk through observed dog frontal at kennel, snarling with teeth barred, stiff body and pinned ears. with coaxing dog lunged and attempted to bite at kennel bars. use caution if handling. 07/16/26 Dog did not participate in playgroup today. Dog was observed presenting fearful and wary of handler behaviors with runner. Runner was unable to place collar for assessment. 07/21/26 Dog is stiff in kennel with hackles raised and tail tucked. Dog alarm barks and handler and remains stiff throughout observation. 07/24/26 Dog participated in playyard enrichment with 2 other dogs. this dog is very tolerant of other dogs gave appropriate greetings to both dogs. 07/29/26 Able to leash with no problems. While walking through kennel, dog is not reactive to other dogs in passing. Walks well on leash, does not pull. In yard, dog keeps to self at first but then will solicit attention from handler. MEDICAL NOTES 07/12/26 09:30 INTAKE: General Attitude: BAR, aggressive and will bite. patient was not handleable, attempted with catch pull first and patient resisted. does have prong collar on, patient is not cooperative. proceeded with sedation for safety in order to provide intake treatment with patient. Ok to go on foster per sr. note, behavior waiver. 08/07/26 10:39 Was brought in stating he has been limping on front right limb for a couple days and also has some nasal discharge. OK per dr. ahn to sedate with zen alpha IM and Butorphanol IM for radiographs. Going to RX 250mg Doxy PO SID x 10 days for the URI. 08/07/26 11:13 Took front limb radiographs. Don't see any obvious fractures. Has a small wound on the front right paw pad. Gave 2.2ml Convenia SQ per Dr. and RX 300mg Gabapentin PO BID x 10 days. 08/30/26 08:54 LEFT FRONT LEG INJURY open wound hemorrhaging left front leg medial area open wound. -Sedation 0.9 dexmed 1/2 IM 1/2 IV torb 0.4ml IV. -Clipped and cleaned/ Convenia for infection protection. -Radiograph/front left leg -Pain control carprofen injection 24 hr dose followed by rx Carprofen/GABA per ptotocol/Simbadol. -Cone -Stay in sally port. 08/31/26 08:26 caution unabe to give simbadol e-kmailiing rescue possibly could bit staff, sending to 300's kennel NOD on oral pain control 09/01/26 08:46 Consultant with Dr., unable to admin Simbadol due to the behav. issue. Per Dr., Ok to removal the Simbadol from the lists.
