watson has 1 day left to live!

About watson: Located At: Harris County Pets Description: My name is Hunter aka Watson. I am male. I look like a white and black Australian Cattle Dog / Pointer. Age: The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old. More Info: I weigh 66.00 pounds. WATSON A661090 has been waiting at Harris County Pets since August 27th, and he desperately needs someone to step up for him. Watson is a handsome 3-year-old, 66-pound Australian Cattle Dog/Pointer mix who was found as a stray. We don't know what happened to him or how he ended up alone, but we DO know something important: ❤️🐾 STAFF SAY WATSON IS GREAT AND DOES NOT MIND BEING HANDLED. 🐾❤️ That one sentence tells us there is a wonderful dog underneath the stress of shelter life ' and he deserves the chance to show someone just how special he can be. 🙏 Sadly, Watson is HEARTWORM POSITIVE, which makes finding a lifesaving option even more difficult. But heartworms are treatable, and being heartworm positive should NEVER mean giving up on a dog who still has so much life ahead of him. ❤️ 🐾 MEET WATSON A661090 🐕 Australian Cattle Dog / Pointer Mix ♂️ Male 🎂 3 years old ⚖️ 66 pounds 📍 Stray 📅 At the shelter since 8/27/2026 🏠 Kennel 2A10 💔 HEARTWORM POSITIVE ❤️ Staff report: 'This dog is great, does not mind being handled.' ‼️🆘 WATSON NEEDS A RESCUE, FOSTER OR ADOPTER NOW! 🆘‼️ Please don't let his heartworm status make people scroll past him. Don't adopt just because you feel sorry for watson!
Adoption should be a well thought out decision, it's a lifetime commitment.
