Success Story: Shy's story is a little sad. She was picked up as a stray and had been mistreated. She would hide her face in the corner of her kennel and just shake all over, & she didn't want anyone to touch her. Here's where the story get's better. A very nice lady and her 2 daughters drove down from Palos Park, Il., up by Chicago, to adopt Shy. They sent about an hour in the kennel with Shy, to get her to warm up to them. By the time they left, they could pet her and she would let them rub her belly. So hopefully she will come out of her shell and make friends with her new owners.
