About mandour: TO BE KILLED ? 5/4/2019
He was found wandering scared and alone in the streets of NY, and we have no idea how that came to be. Did his family heartlessly toss him out of their home, was he dropped off in the street out of a moving car, or did he just get out of his yard one day and lose his way? Whatever the reason, he was terrified, and was made more so by the catch pole they tossed around his neck, the noose tightening while he thrashed in pain and fear. Can we blame him for wanting to cower in the back of his kennel, unable to trust the humans who caused him so much pain? But in his eyes is a gentleness, a sweetness, that indicates what a goods soul he is. And that is the most heartbreaking thing, because given his situation, the chances he will walk out alive are slim to none. Unless you help him. As a staff member writes: ?Hey guys, my name is Mandour. Everyone says that I've got the cutest droopy face, and that they wish I could feel more comfortable in the shelter. I'm pretty scared right now, since I don't really know where I am! Right now, I feel safest in my kennel where I can take in the sights and sounds. I may succeed best with a very experienced caretaker who can help me find the support I need to feel comfortable!? If you are an experienced foster or adopter in an adult only home (no kids under age 13) and can help this poor boy live to see another day, hurry and Message our page or email us at MustLoveDogsNYC@gmail.com for assistance.
