My name is HEAVEN.
I am a female, white and tan dog. I weighed 63.9 LBS at intake.
The shelter staff think I am about 2 years old.
I am part of Litter No K19-032511.
I have been at the shelter since May 04, 2019. I am available for adoption now!

5/13/2014 per MAS: Mama dog Haven #A313392 has been on the urgent list since 5/8. She came in as a stray aggressive that MPD was involved with and went into labor on the officers truck on the way to the shelter. Unfortunately, the only time she has been calm was while she was in active labor when her intake photo was taken. After she killed one of her puppies and injured another one in an attempt to get to staff members, plus was observed blindly running across the newborns to do so, and could be heard even when no one was in that room, the puppies had to be removed from her for their safety. We were able to locate fosters for them. The problem now, is that mom is on the urgent list and will be euthanized the next time we run it. We absolutely try not to euthanize moms, but due to this dogs behavior, we are going to have to make that tough call. She has a liability waiver. This morning she is attacking the kennel divider. We have given her time and her behavior is not improving at all and it is not fair to continue housing her based on how upset she remains in this environment. If you can help give her a chance outside of the shelter, please let us know!
