About pete: PETE - ID#A319502 Police confiscated. Penny has lived on a chain. She needs love! Look at that face! Please meet Penny. This sweet girl came into the shelter having been confiscated by the police. She was confiscated with Pete #A319502. Lucy has obviously lived on a chain from the markings/wear on her neck. She is also missing hair on her feet. This girl has been neglected for sure. BUT you know what.....she is sweet as sugar. This girlie just cannot get enough attention. She begs for it. Penny is also very friendly. She loved meeting people in the lobby....wanting to be petted by everyone. Penny walks nicely on a leash, and she adores treats for sure lol. She is a "treat hound" taking them nicely. Penny breaks your heart when you think about her past....but she is looking forward! Penny is about ten months old (maybe a little older), and her id number is #A319504. This girl weighs about thirty-three pounds being thin, and she has tested positive for heartworms so will need treatment. But her treatment for the heartworms is included in her adoption fee! No worries about that expense. We want Miss Penny to learn what a great loving home is. She is so sweet you cannot help but love her. Memphis Animal Services is the place to meet this homeless girl. My name is PETE. I am a male, black and white dog. I weighed 44.6 LBS at intake. The shelter staff think I am about 11 months old. I am part of Litter No K19-039954. I am heartworm negative. I have been at the shelter since Nov 18, 2019.I will be held at Memphis Animal Services until 11/22/2019 to give my owner (if I have one) an opportunity to reclaim me. I am available to be pre-adopted now. Pre-adoption must be done in person at the shelter at 2350 Appling City Cove and will be canceled if my owner reclaims or anything else occurs preventing me from being adopted. Pre-adoption fees are not refundable but will remain as a credit on your account towards another adoption.
