A volunteer writes: What's up, I'm Carrot and I'm putting an end to the myth that redheads have a short temper! I have a delightful, easy-going personality. Just look at me! I have gentle eyes, adorable floppy ears and a friendly smile. I love to wiggle my tail when I meet new people. I'm 5 years old and I love to play with toys and run around. I like walks but I need someone to show me how this leash-walking thing works. I tend to pull, but I can learn to do it better if you teach me with treats. I'm not a huge fan of other dogs right now, so I need to be your one-and-only good boy. Come say hi and experience my sparkling personality for yourself!
Carrot was placed at risk due to behavioral deterioration in the shelter. He has been reported to difficult taken out of his kennel and been rope reactive and snapping at a staff member. ASAP placement would benefit Carrot's in shelter behavior and we are recommending an experienced dog adopter for Carrot. He is otherwise healthy.
