About milo: MILO - ID#A320589 My name is MILO. I am a male, black and white dog. I weighed 61.4 LBS at intake. The shelter staff think I am about 8 years old. I am heartworm positive. I have been at the shelter since Jan 02, 2020.I will be held at Memphis Animal Services until 01/06/2020 to give my owner (if I have one) an opportunity to reclaim me. I am available to be pre-adopted now. Pre-adoption must be done in person at the shelter at 2350 Appling City Cove and will be canceled if my owner reclaims or anything else occurs preventing me from being adopted. Pre-adoption fees are not refundable but will remain as a credit on your account towards another adoption. Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal: Friends of the Memphis Animal Shelter says: "Meet MILO. Milo caught my eye today when I was walking by. He just leaned into the kennel bars when I talked to him and savored the pets I gave him. I went back when I was finished with the other dogs and figured he could probably use a nice potty break. Milo went outside and did his business right away. Milo walks well on a leash and he takes treats gently. Milo loves the soft treats. Milo might have some vision issues but he hears just fine. Milo went to the volunteer office and met a few people. He relished all the attention he received. Milo is 8 years old and weighs 61 pounds. He is heartworm positive but don't fret because heartworm treatment is now included in the adoption fee. Milo is located at Memphis Animal Services and his id number is #A320589.
