About ringo: Ringo the Dingo ACCT-A-99385 is currently considered urgent and at risk of euthanasia due to behavioral concerns. Ringo must have confirmed placement with a RESCUE PARTNER by Sunday, February 27th at 10 a.m. Should Ringo's medical or behavioral status change, his urgency and timeline for placement may also change. Ringo the Dingo is an absolutely beautiful adult male mixed breed dog that came to us as an owner surrender. His owner reports that his behavior in the home was very loving but only towards him-that Ringo was not good with strangers. Ringo's behavior in the shelter is consistent with selectivity; he came in with a wound on his foot (since healed) and some of our medical staff could handle him for treatment without issue. However, he has also demonstrated reactivity towards others including lunging, growling and bite attempts. Ringo is deteriorating quickly and urgently needs to leave with a rescue that is prepared to offer him time to decompress from his stay in the shelter as well as structured support for his behavioral needs. Possible placement, interested parties, and other "TBD" statuses are not considered confirmed and do not indicate an animal is no longer urgent.
