Her stress levels have increased as she?s sat in kennel for days without a walk. Dog meet: https://youtu.be/XchLC__O8js Briana was found on 2/13 as a stray. Briana was a little nervous her first couple of days here, but who's to blame her as she is meeting new people, in a new place, and around all these dog friends. Since then, Briana has opened up. She loves to stay near you and receive all the pets in the world! She loves playing with you as well, she will end up having the dog zoomies (which is SO CUTE). Briana has been getting super stressed out and deteriorating in our care. Briana has been observed panting heavily in her kennel, eating her feces, and barking throughout the day. Once out of kennel Briana will begin leash biting and climbing the leash. She has to be double leashed by staff to be taken out for cleaning. Even double leashed she will leash bite and attempt to redirect onto the handler at times posing a safety risk. Briana urgently needs to leave the shelter and be placed in a quiet home based environment to decompress. Confirmed placement is considered confirmation of an actual rescue pull. Possible placement, interested parties, and other "TBD" statuses are not considered confirmed and do not indicate an animal is no longer urgent.
