💜 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 kennel covered with a note that says please no peeking 😩 pleasantly surprised to see the play on words bc she is anything but tiny! She seemed friendly and I quickly attempted to leash. Once leash she walked outside without issue. mainly avoided the kenneled dogs, focused on getting outside. did her business right away and checks in to see if she is still a best girl. she did get pretty vocal with POPPY as she was being walked up to an outside run. attempted to walk her with BEANS who was super interested in her but she wasn?t a fan of him in her face and raised her lip and lurched forward. he didn?t want trouble so dogs were able to walk away. She allowed BEANS to sniff her butt again but wasn?t a fan of him in her face. she is vocal when she sees other dogs and pulls towards them. she is big, so can be strong on leash. but she also will leash walk without distractions. easy to put back up. she does jump up for hugs and sometimes will sit for a treat. she would rather hug and then get a treat lol. she likes to lean her entire body into you while you pet her. she is on the thin side so needs to gain some weight! an employee saw me walking her and TINY was all helicopter tail wags when she saw the employee. Sweet girl, just doesn?t like dogs in her face. I am sure she is in need of decompression and possibly socialization?
📝 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 INTAKE 1/17 - @ circle investment apts :1 dog that is tied to a pole. 1/18 Dog greeted me with a wagging tail, open mouth. I placed leash and he walked loosely to next kennel, accepted treats.
1/19 Was a move adopt into NB approaching run she is barking, pacing and presents dialated eyes. I open the run door after placing treats on the ground and I was able to leash. Walked on a semi tight leash accepted treats. Walked into kennel with no issues. Once in kennel she began to bark, while pacing. I offered rawhide and covered kennel and it did not seem to help continued to bark throughout AM cleaning. Placing on adopt eval and will monitor behavior.
1/20 Constant vocalization throughout the day when someone is passing by her kennel. Easy to leash. Walks on a loose leash, will attempt to pull but I was able to redirect using treats and calling her to me.
