About frankie: Frankie ACCT-A-111218 is currently considered urgent and at risk of euthanasia due to behavioral concerns. Frankie must have confirmed placement with a RESCUE PARTNER by Sunday, January 22nd by 10:00 am. Should Frankie's medical or behavioral status change, his urgency and timeline for placement may also change.

Frankie is a 2 year old brindle pup who came to ACCT originally as a stray in April of 2022. His finder had nothing but great things to say about him. They stated that he is very friendly and has your typical puppy energy. They also said Frankie interacted with a smaller female dog and was very friendly with her. Frankie was friendly while in our care and quickly won over the hearts of staff and volunteers.

Frankie ended up going into foster and was adopted quickly. Frankie came back to us recently on January 16th. We were able to get in touch with the original adopter who shared, He was fine until one day out of nowhere he killed 2 of my cats (who he was around the whole time I had him and was fine) and then ever since then he was becoming aggressive towards myself and the kids. He would growl and bare teeth for no reason and then he even tried to attack my 1 year old and I had to step in between and my son wasn't even doing anything but sitting on my couch watching Tv. Frankie never bit anyone in the adoptive home, but did attempt to on multiple occasions, Due to this the family rehomed him. On the 16th he was surrendered by the family he was rehomed to. They shared that Frankie was very energetic in their home, snatchy with food, and could become very destructive and caused significant damage to the home. Since arriving back in our care Frankie has displayed barrier reactivity, but outside has been his friendly self.
