💜 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 RO Sir Mix-A-Lot A1861055: idk why Sir makes me kinda sad ☹️ I really think people haven?t been very nice to him his whole life, as he was nervous around me when I would stand up, but would trot over with his ears back if I crouched down. Idk why that just doesn?t make me feel good about his history, but it does. He was so sweet outside, took treats well and even knows how to sit. He LOVES treats and even sneakily stuck his nose in my treat pouch! I had no trouble putting a bandana on him, petting him over the head, or taking off his nasty collar which was SUPER tight on him. I hope someone takes a chance on him.
📝 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 🌟PLEA NOTES: He is not showing well in the kennel, his neighbors are very vocal and its stressing him out. In his kennel he is low growling and cowering away from staff. Once out of the kennel he is a goofy wiggly boy, walks great on a leash and is potty trained!
INTAKE 1/19 - 1/MED/BLK AND WHT PIT IN CALLERS YARD WILL NOT LEAVE AND NOW SHOWING AGGRESSION 1/21 Sitting at back of kennel, whale eyes, leaning weight away from leash and low growling but otherwise not moving as leash touched him. I used a long leash to get loop on him and with some initial resistance inside kennel, he walked once outside of kennel and kept close to me, tail tucked. As I opened kennel door he entered and I left leash on, shut door behind him.
1/22 ACT was able to slowly leash dog up. He leashed walked him outside and dog sniffed around for a good spot to potty. ACT allowed dog to sniff around, he was very curious of his surroundings and had a neutral body and low waggy tail. Once done exploring ACT walked back to kennel.
