Ginger A1860856 - have you ever seen a dog and just fallen in love before you even greeted them? That was Ginger for me, she was without a doubt my favorite dog today. She?s such a doll, knows sit and loves treats. Another volunteer asked me to get her from the kennel because she was barky and covered, so when I grabbed her, I expected a hyper, overly aroused and riled up dog but what i got was a sweetheart with great personality. She was very quiet outside and didn?t make a single peep. When returned to her kennel, she did start barking again and when I stepped in to get the bandana, she rolled on her back and begged for belly scratches. Other volunteers took Ginger on a parallel walk with Jasmine.

1/19 Tail out and fast wagging, soft expression and ears down when approached. Walked into leash loop and walked with loose leash to new kennel.
1/21 Approached kennel and ginger was wagging tail while being in calming body movements. While taking Ginger for leash walk I noticed her stool had blood in it. She walked beside me while going back to kennel.
1/24 While passing by Ginger was jumping on kennel door, slamming her body against the kennel door while high pitch barking. I offered treats and she stopped but once I walked away she began to bark. Covering kennel and offering enrichment.
