💜 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 #1 Yeller is a distinguished gentleman. He is fun and silly and most likely is potty trained. He is full grown so won't get any bigger. He is truly funny and really just likes checking out the run. He doesn't seem to care much about other dogs around him. Just seems to like sniffing around and eating lots of treats. #2 Yeller A1860527 - barky and anxious alone in the run by himself, Yeller is an escape artist - he pushed through kennel as I was sliding in to meet him. Yeller doesn?t appear to know sit and had lots of anxious energy. He?s sweet and affectionate when you can get him to focus but I could not get more than a few brief moments of attention even when offering treats. Yeller is in great physical condition; he?s a gorgeous dog would love to have a very active house getting him outside to burn off his energy. I did have to put him in a harness to go back to his kennel but he went in easily. Didn?t temp test because he?s so anxious but in him walking by dogs he didn?t respond to anyone, offered greeting sniffs and kept it trucking. I feel bad for him because he?s just not showing/doing well in the shelter but could be a great dog jn a neutral environment
📝 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 INTAKE 1/16 - Was left in baydock overnight by HPD. When I first walked up to kennel dog stood and raised hackles. When I began to talk to him his hackles went down, and he leashed easily and walked on loose leash to eval. Was loose with tail wags and cooperative for workup. Owner doesn't want street dog. *Bites Per HPD turn in form.HPD NE Case#0075031 Unit#9C14N
1/18 Sat up, hiding face in corner and whale eyes when I opened door. I squatted down and approached him slowly and leashed. He walked out slowly, hyperaware of surroundings and tail down. Walked pressed along wall and trying to find corners to hide in but would continue walking when leash tightened. Once approached open kennel he scurried in and lied down at back of kennel.
1/23 Yeller was standing in front of the kennel door when I walk up to him. I open the the kennel door slightly, place the leash over him and he walk out of the kennel. Once we started walking towards the door, Yeller started to pull forward on a tight leash, tossed treats in front of hin to redirect but he just ignored them. When we walk outside I place him in the runs, hoping he had to potty. After a few minutes I went back outside to get Yeller and when I place the leash over him, he push the gate and again started to pull forward on a tight leash back inside the building still ignoring the treats.
