💜 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 Biggie is well named- he is an incredibly cute chubby boy! He is very very overweight now, poor boy but for his age and weight- he is incredibly energetic and lively! He?s strong on a leash and absolutely loves treats, he will sit for them and when I didn?t give them fast enough he?d give me a little bark. He did great on his temp test, gave brief sniffs and tail wags with Kristal and was always friendly- wasn?t overly interested in her so they were able to walk well together just side by side on a leash. He?s a friendly cutie!
📝 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 1/23 Biggie presented a wiggly body and wagging tail. On the leash Biggie will pull on a tight leash not taking any treats to redirect.
1/25 greeted me with a wiggly body, loose mouth and tongue and would jump on his kennel door. once leashed he pulled on a tight leash and would ignore the trail of treats. same behavior and body language as we headed back into south. 1/26 Approaching Biggies kennel, he is very vocal. He stops barking when he sees me. His tail is wagging and he has a loose body. Biggie is easy to leash up however he does push his head against the kennel door while trying to be leashed. While walking, he pulls hard on his leash. Treats do not work to redirect his behavior. While walking inside he did stop to attempt to touch noses with dogs as he passed by. He stopped by one dog and they both started lunging and aggressively barking at each other. Treats and baby talk did nothing to redirect him from doing this as I had to physically pull him away from the dogs kennel door. While outside in the run he does become over aroused. Coming back from the run, he pulls very very hard and attempts to pull himself to other dogs. Treats do not work to redirect him from this behavior. Once we were back inside he did lunge and bark at the same dog passing by it. He did walk into the kennel on his own and he knows the command sit.
