⏰Liv is a 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙘𝙪𝙚 𝙊𝙣𝙡𝙮 pet and needs a hold 𝗻𝗼 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟭𝗣𝗠 or she?ll be euthanized 🥺We need pledges and a local foster for a rescue to help.💰🏡

💜 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 Vol #1: Liv was sitting quietly in her kennel near the front and happily ate the treats I passed her through the door. She leashed very easily giving me no trouble and walked confidently out of her kennel and through the ward. During the nearly two hours she was outside with us, Liv was so quiet rarely making a sound even as we worked with other dogs and she had to wait her turn for a temp test. She?s quite affectionate, she likes to be loved on and get her ears rubbed, and she?d sneak little butterfly kisses on my cheek as I bent down to talk to her. Liv knows sit and takes treats incredibly gently - just a little nibble with her front teeth, never getting my fingers. She?s a bit underweight (but a small girl anyway) and more importantly, I want this girl to be my personal trainer because OMG the muscle tone and definition in her back and hips is to be envied!!! She?s HW- and just needs spaying before she?s ready to go home. She was temp tested against Brownie.
Vol #2: I spent about 15 mins alone with Liv in the runs, and I just have to say she is so so incredibly sweet. She came up to me and sat so quietly while enjoying pats, she loves her treats and will sit for them, and is just so quiet, tiny and sweet. I really hope she makes it out, she is so gentle and left such an impression on me. 📝 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀
🌟PLEA NOTES: These two girls were picked up running loose in a park. They are both heartworm negative but do have medical/behavioral issues. INTAKE 1/23 - 1/blk&white & 1/blk dogs loose on street come to elderly caller's yard/barking & trying to bite/pls pickup/3rd call
1/24 Alarm barking, fast wagging tail, pursed lips, dilated pupils. Took treats and was easy to leash. Walked out with tucked tail and kept an eye on me at all times. Able to muzzle and work up with no difficulty.
1/25 Tensed body, whale eyes, growling, air snapping used a long leash to remove her from the kennel walked with a tensed body. Once in the kennel i was not able to remove leash due to growling. When closing the kennel she jumps to the front of the kennel barking, growling.
1/26 Approaching kennel dog is lunging, whale eyes and hackles up. I started tossing treats and dog started to eat them, while eating i started to place leash but dog lunged at me and as i pulled leash away, he lunged at my feet. I Kept tossing treats but i was unable to place leash. I had to use a catchpole and while on he did not move. I then Placed a leash and muzzled dog carrying to next kennel. 🚑
Medical Notes: 1/24/23 s/o: dog has a soft type swelling at point of shoulder. a: soft tissue swelling right shoulder. p: outreach to decide on plea and will watch swelling/mass.
