𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 Rudy Tooty Fresh N Fruity is such a perfect example of a handsome blockhead! He knows sit and is very polite about waiting to take his treats until offered them. He was quiet in his kennel and did well walking by dogs, even ignoring Ron, who doesn?t like males. He greeted most of the dogs with polite but quick sniffs but he did lift his leg and pee on Elvis? kennel twice, which I told him wasn?t very gentlemanly. He gave me several sweet kisses and absolutely no issue going back inside to his kennel. I loved him a lot!
𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲: dogs roaming and charging people. Call came through Mayor's office. Pls impound and address owners.
3/1 Rudy is quiet in the kennel, when taking him outside he walks well on a loose leash. When approaching him in the kennel holds a relax body, soft close mouth.
3/7 Noticed Rudy growling back at A1868058 on the other side of the divider. He noticed me at his door and came to greet me. I opened the door and leashed him as he wiggled his bottom. He walked with bouncy ears out to the runs with me. I walked inside, removed his leash, and sat on the bench. He was extremely affectionate. Intentionally rubbing his whole body from one knee to the other, like a cat. He took treats gently from my fingers as I offered them. Afterwards, I walked Rudy back into the building. He became focused on another tech carrying an adopted puppy out to its adopter, trying to pull me behind them.
3/8 Approaching kennel he presents a semi relaxed body, slow wagging tail. Leashed easily. Approached neighboring dogs kennel with a tense body. I called him to me and offering a treat and he followed me. Immediately relieved himself. Walked on a tight leash but was able to redirect using meaty treats. Walked back into kennel and greeted neighboring dogs along the way, With a tense body, high flagging tail, and hackles. I again was able to redirect by calling him to me and tossing treats on the ground. When removing leash, he licked my hand, and I offered pets which he seemed to enjoy. During the day he is on his bedding napping.
