Bert must have a hold 𝗻𝗼 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 1PM or he?ll be euthanized. We need pledges and a local foster for a rescue to help.

𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 this dude was super nervous in the kennel but let me leash him even though he was cowering in the corner without issue. He walked slowly outside but walked well on leash. Once in the yard he kept his distance for me for a little while. Slowly he started to open up and even started taking treats from me. He let me pet him gently too. He didn?t show much interest in other dogs, he seems to be extremely overwhelmed but still sweet. He is extremely skinny and he has some scar tissue on his butt, probably from sitting in hard concrete but I?m not sure. He seems to have had a super rough life. He has a big head and his waist is smaller than his head so you know he?s extremely underweight. He broke my heart, with a little TLC this dude would thrive. You can tell he wants to trust people so badly. I hope he gets to experience love.
𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 Gry aggrs Pitbull in the back of a vacant house he is aggressive 5/20 Approaching kennel dog is sitting down, i started to toss treats and he ate a few , i started to place leash but then he started to avoid eye contact and low growl. I kept tossing leash with treats untill on and he walked out with tail tucked and head low to next kennel 5/18 Dog was sleeping curled up in C shape on bedding upon approach. I tried to greet him and offer treats he did not show interest. I slowly opened kennel door and try to lure him out using baby talk , he did not care for it. After waiting on him some minutes he would come peek his head out and sniff but then go back in place with whale eyes and tried moving to the back of the kennel . I had to do a light muzzle and enter kennel behind him in order to get him to walk out. Once out of the kennel was still muzzle he tried to shake it off, but I had to loosen it up for him. He then walked slowly on loose leash. PLacing on adopt eval to monitor behavior.
