JoJo?s owner may have been arrested and now he finds himself in dire need of a hold no later than 1𝗣𝗠 or he will be euthanized. We need pledges and a local foster for a rescue to help.

Shelter Plea JoJo was picked up when a police officer called regarding a dog that was confined for pick up. JoJo was timid when he first got to the shelter but his behavior has improved and he will sit on command. Please let us know if you can help JoJo, he is available immediately.
Intake 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 5/16 - UNIT 7C19A OFFICER WOODLEY STANDING BY ON 2 DOGS SUSPECT DETAINED
Volunteer notes: I was going to skip meeting this guy because I was crunched on time and because of his shelter notes, but I?m glad I didn?t! He surprised me and he was actually a sweet boy. He sat on command and didn?t give me any issue getting him out. He is STRONG though. He pulled on the leash and immediately did his business outside. He seemed a bit overwhelmed with all the dogs barking (it was loud in the ward today) so I didn?t walk him by any. Given his fresh crop job, heartworms, and that he was confiscated by the police, I imagine this guy hasn?t had it easy.
𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 5/20 - Witnessed dog avoiding eye contact, facial muscle tension, and liplicking when handler was attempting to leash as well as pulling slightly back once leashed. Dog walked out slowly ignoring treats. Covered kennel door and gave extra enrichment.
5/21 - approaching kennel dog greeted me with neutral body and medium, low, wagging tail as a I babytalk. Offered treats and easily place leash on him. jojo walked on a loose leash. He ignored treats in his way to the runs but followed some trial in the way back. dog have been lying quiet in his bed during the morning.
