The shelter will help with heartworm medication if he is adopted through them. 📝 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬: 3/6/2025 INTAKE: picked up stray dog at address listed on activity 03/09/2025 BEHAVIOR NOTE: Approaching kennel, dog was quietly standing in the front with open mouth smile and wagging tail. I opened the door and easily leashed him. He walked well and on a semi tight leash. Outside he had hackled raised and a wagging tail while sniffing. I placed him in the runs and he quietly went off to sniff around. When retrieving him I called him over and he came towards me but then went towards his neighbor and started to low growl at him.
