They were both found left in the garage. 𝐒𝐀𝐌𝐒𝐎𝐍 is now on the euthanasia list for "Medical (URI), Behavior (very forward on leash, over aroused, continuously jumping at handler snapping towards the leash, Time/Space, LOS 19 days." Please adopt, foster, or rescue o continue their important work. 📝 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬: 2/20/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE (INTAKE): 1 chihuahua small and 1 bull dog puppy left in garage owner passed away/ pls make contact. 2/24/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: Approaching kennel, Samson has relaxed body language and begins to slowly wag his tail. I opened the kennel leashing him and he walked out the kennel. He walked loosely on leash as I walked him outside. When outside, he sat by me pressing his body against my legs and wagged his tail as I pet him. I then placed him inside a run. 3/2/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: Samson greeted me at the front of the kennel with a wiggly body. Once he was on the leash, he started jumping on me, grabbing the leash with his mouth and as i was tossing treats to redirect he was just ignoring them. Onced Samson was place in the dog run, he was sitting in front of the gate and started whinning. 3/3/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: When I approached his kennel, Samson was sitting by the kennel door looking at me with a soft face. I leashed him and he walked on a loose leash to the outside runs with a loose wiggly body. He walked back inside on a loose leash. Was calm and quiet in his kennel throughout the day 3/5/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: When I approached his kennel, Samson was standing by the kennel door with tappy feet and a waggy tail. He walked on a loose leash to and from the outside runs. He took treats gently from my hands while outside. He was calm and quiet in his kennel throughout the day. 3/8/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: Samson has a wiggly body, fast wagging tail, tap dancing front paws; he also shows blood shot eyes. he walked on a loose leash to the runs, but he then would occacionally jump on me but with treats i was able to redirect. 3/9/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: Forward on the leash . Once I placed in the run, dog began to potty immediately. Once I came back dog was very over aroused and once I leashed back up Dog was very jumpy towards me and continously jumping up at me and was snapping towards the leash . I had to manouver the leash to make sure dog didnt get close to my face.
