He recently had blood in his stool, but he still appeared to be bright eyed and alert. This guy is not adjusting to life in the shelter well and would greatly benefit from a foster home so he can decompress! I have attached June's medical notes and kennel card below. 2/26/25: Large amount of bright red blood in stool noted. Dog is BAR and appears to be e/d normally. Fecal: NSF Starting GI protocol. Please foster or adopt 𝐉𝐔𝐍 📝 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬: 2/22/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: Approaching kennel dog is laying down, hard stare, low growl i tossed leash until on and he came out tail tucked, ears back and whale eyes. 2/23/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: Approaching kennel dog has relaxed body language. I opened the kennel leashing him and he walked out the kennel with loose body. I placed him against the wall as I cleaned the kennel and he remained calm until I placed him back inside. 2/24/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: Approaching kennel, dog was standing in the front with neutral face and body, was also slightly wagging tail. When i baby talked him tail began to wag faster. I opened the door and easily leashed him. He walked on a semi tight leash with the same body language. While outside he quickly sniffed around and went potty. Coming back inside he had a more relaxed body and went straight into kennel. 2/26/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: Approaching kennel he was vocalizing, slow tail wag, panting, and a tensed body. He walks on a tight leash pulling forward. Went into kennel no issue. 2/28/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: Standing at the front of his kennel with stiff wagging tail, walked out with tight leash ahead of me out to runs, quiet in runs. Was a move adopt yesterday and mostly ignored customers, but with a couple he approached the front of his kennel with wagging tail, high pitched barking/whining when they would walk away. 3/1/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: When I approached his kennel, June had a loose wiggly body and walked on a tight leash to and from the outside runs. While in his kennel, he was high-pitched barking as I cleaned other kennels. 3/2/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: Approaching kennel, June presented a tense body, wrinkle forehead and tight open mouth. walking June out of the kennel, she did walk well on a loose leash, her body posture became a little more relax but a little tense. 3/3/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: When I approached his kennel, June greeted me with a tense wiggly body and tense open mouth. I leashed him and he walked on a semi-tight leash to the outside runs. When I retrieved him from the outside runs, he greeted me with a loose wiggly body.
