About olive: Hello, my name is Olive. My animal id is #220365. I am a desexed female brown dog at the Manhattan Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 1 years 8 months old.
I came into the shelter as a agency on 2/11/2025.
Olive is at-risk due to behavior concerns. She arrived at the care centers as a stray and was loose and wiggly during her intake. However, during her stay in the care center Olive has been observed to be fearful. Noted to have a tense body and low tail, but will slowly warm up with coaxing. Olive has started to display signs of deterioration and has been observed to jump up towards handlers, mouth handlers, and leash bite. Medically, she is apparently healthy. Olive has a $500 stipend to be provided to a New Hope Partner if pulled.
