𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐕𝐄𝐍 is now on the euthanasia list for "Medical (Heartworms), Behavior (stressed, pacing back and forth inside to outside part of kennel, high pitch vocal, pawing at the kennel door, panting, pulling on leash, ignoring attempts of redirecting)." 📝 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬: 4/21/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: Heaven was moved to North building in the PM. In kennel was pacing back and forth inside and outside portions of kennel, high pitched whining and howling. Tried to get out when opening kennel door to spot clean. 4/21/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: Heaven was a Move Adopt today. He walked on a loose leash into South. While in his kennel, he was panting and very vocal, looking over the kennel wall to bark at neighboring dog. When walking over to New Building, Heaven was walking on a tight leash. 4/22/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: Heaven knows how to open the divider, was lifted and dog was laying on the outside in the am. Heaven was quiet and relaxed throughout am cleaning. Walks very well on a loose leash . After am cleaning noticed he likes to be on the outside more than the inside. Has been very quiet and relaxed throughout the the day . 4/23/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: Had to be moved to a different kennel due to needing the divider for Surgery dogs. Since being moved dog has become more vocal but possibly coule be feeding off of Connor's behavior. He is mostly relaxed in his kennel. Lounges around relaxed. 4/24/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: Approaching kennel, Heaven is forward bark, panting, and spinning in kennel as I offer treats to leash him. Dog ignored treats all throughout interaction and kept pulling heavily to either other dogs or to mark territory. Would suggest to use chicken or hotdogs to see if dog's attention gets redirected. Once placed back in kennel, dog takes treats but begins to vocalize at a high pitch as digs at the doggy door until I am finished cleaning. 4/25/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: was vocal in kennel during am feeding and cleaning. presented a neutral body, low swaying tail and panting. walked on a tight forward leash and ignored attempts at redirecting. maintained same behaviour during entire interaction. 4/26/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: relaxed body, wagging tail, pawing at doggy doors, walks on a semi loose leash. 4/27/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: Approaching kennel, Heaven was barking front his kennel's door. I give him some treats to leash him up but Heaven just takes the soft ones.
